Monkey: Take Two

Summary

Sun Wukong aka Monkey King is currently living in the 21st-century as a famous movie star, how did we get here? Centuries after JTTW Wukong’s would fall in and out of touch with the outside world. Every time he go to stay at his mountain, for what felt like months would instead be decades, and every time he join the outside world it was like he had to relearn everything all over again, because of how much society kept progressing, and every time he went, it seemed less and less people heard of him. He misses his fame and notoriety, and he misses being known. No longer allowed to interfere as a demon or celestial, he disguises as a human, and spends decades among them, becoming an actor and going full Hollywood losing touch with everything that made him the Monkey King.

 After decades of this, a part of him literally dies, a layer of his immortality breaking (don’t worry he’s got five more of those so he’s physically fine) 

but that part of him that did die, was the part that was just a simple monkey was reborn into a little monkey who will be known as BB.
